    The VideoActive Project

    A three-year project launched in September 2006 within the framework of a 12-member international consortium is financed by the EU. It aims to secure that parts of the European national audiovisual archives become browsable and retrievable through an independent uniform platform and makes these easy to search on the user’s national language.

    Public Sector Information Program

    Our PSI program aims to extend the accessibility of the public service information property. In line with Act XC. of 2005 on the ‘Freedom of Electronic Information’, all authorities performing a public role are liable to grant access to their public data specified by the law through their websites, free of charge and registration-free.

    The P2P Fusion Project

    A three-year project launched in June 2006 within the framework of a 7-member international consortium financed by the EU. It aims to back up the activity of communities actively involved in the use of audiovisual contents by means of developing tools to support the reutilization of creative audiovisual contents based on p2p technology.

    As stated in the enacting decree John von Neumann Digital Library and Multimedia Centre Kht. is appointed to author the anonymized data base and act as an implementing body in any related tasks as being a state-owned company highly experienced in the management of electronic registers and databases.

    The IM3I (Immersive Multimedia Interfaces) project develops interactive applications and services that provide innovative capabilities for analysing, indexing, and storing all types of digital media, by extending the traditionally performed annotation-based multimedia retrieval to content-based search.
