Within the framework of the Project Michael+ we collect and grant access to the data describing the digital collections of the Hungarian cultural heritage and provide extended search facilities throughout these. Information on these collections is not only available in Hungarian (under www.michael-culture.hu), but also in all official languages of the EU through the joint Michael portal, thus highly increasing the international availability of Hungarian cultural data on the Internet. These Michael portals primarily serve touristic, scientific and educational aims, and are further to be understood as the central collection register of the EDL (European Digital Library).
