Mission

Neumann Nonprofit Kft. considers it their main objective to secure the widest possible range of access to the national digital data property as well as to contribute to the development of a digital content market. We believe, that all data property collected or handled by the state – may these data be of statistical or cultural nature – must be placed at the disposal of the public, i.e. the people who transform these data into a new form of knowledge, use these to create new interpretations or to set up ventures. An open culture cannot be built on information asymmetry, but on cooperation and the sharing as well as multiplication of knowledge. Through our solutions we aim to construct a uniform content-based infrastructure that helps share, aggregate, access, retrieve and reutilize this knowledge as well as contents.
